Wellness defined

"...a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." - The World Health Organization.
Wellness has been said to be in 8 dimensions viz:
Environmental
Emotional
Intellectual
Financial
Occupational
Social
Physical
Spiritual.

For the purpose of this discussion we shall limit our definition to physical wellness upon which every other form of wellness is dependent
Physical wellness is critical for our overall wellbeing as this is the most visible of all the dimensions of wellness
It is worthy of note however, that all the eight dimensions are inter related.
Physical wellness deals with the well being of our physical body which can only be achieved through beneficial physical activity and right nutrition.
